Venice Film Festival: Deadline’s Full Coverage
It is clear from the early premieres of auteur efforts like the long awaited film return of Alejandro G Inarritu with Bardo, and Todd Field’s Tar (with a staggeringly good performance from Cate Blanchett) that Venice is a unique place to unveil an awards season film. The crowd of people who camp out just to see the likes of Timothee Chalamet with Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde upcoming on Monday, gives a sense that Barbera and cohorts have given the festival back a sense of buzz in recent years.
