Lenny Kravitz gets his own Ken doll in Barbie’s Kenbassadors collection

Lenny Kravitz has officially entered the Barbie universe, with the rock star getting his very own Ken doll.

The singer, songwriter, actor and designer has been named the latest honouree in Barbie’s Signature Kenbassadors Collection, which celebrates men who have made an impact on culture.

The announcement comes as Ken celebrates his 65th anniversary this year.

And if you know Lenny Kravitz, it should come as no surprise that his mini-me comes with plenty of his signature style.

The collectable doll takes inspiration from one of Kravitz’s onstage looks, wearing a bronze-coloured mesh cowl-neck tank, boot-leg denim jeans, a studded belt, boots and sunglasses.

It also features his trademark locs, making the doll instantly recognisable as the award-winning musician.

For Kravitz, being chosen as a Kenbassador is a full-circle moment.

“Barbie is an institution, and as a kid growing up, I could not have imagined this,” he said. “To be chosen by Mattel as a Kenbassador, only the second one in history, is an honour and absolutely surreal.”

Kravitz is the second person to receive the Kenbassadors treatment after basketball star LeBron James became the first honouree when the collection launched in 2025.

The collection is part of Barbie’s ongoing celebration of men who have left their mark on music, sport, entertainment, fashion and wider culture.

Kravitz certainly fits the brief.

With more than 50 million records sold worldwide, the musician has built a career that stretches far beyond music. He has also worked as an actor and designer, while becoming known for his distinctive approach to fashion and personal style.

The doll arrives as Kravitz continues his “Blue Electric Light Tour”, giving fans another way to celebrate his career and unmistakable aesthetic.

And while Ken may be celebrating 65 years, he is clearly still keeping up with the times.

The Barbie Signature Kenbassadors Lenny Kravitz Collectable Doll became available online from Thursday, with a recommended selling price of $70.
