While Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to dominate the box office, Marvel fans are already starting to look ahead to Avengers: Doomsday.
Hitting theaters on December 18, Doomsday will serve as the penultimate installment in the Multiverse Saga and see Marvel heroes gather from across time and space to face off against Doctor Doom and, perhaps, each other.

“Beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered,” Marvel has teased.
Anticipation Continues to Build
Following a gathering of cast members at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event and the release of a new trailer, anticipation for Avengers: Doomsday is through the roof.

The last time we checked in on the film, we brought you a report that it was outpacing Spider-Man: Brand New Day in presale tickets by 65%.
Now, we are back with another update.
Pre-Sale Tickets Continue to Climb
Yesterday, GlobalBoxOffice reported that Avengers: Doomsday had already surpassed $40 million in domestic presales, 100 days before the film hits theaters.

That already made Doomsday the highest-selling film in presales this far ahead of its release.
Disney Confirms the Ticket Sales
At today’s Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference 2026, Disney CFO Hugh Johnston revealed that presale tickets for Avengers: Doomsday have already surpassed $50 million domestically.

For comparison, Spider-Man: Brand New Day did not hit $40 million in domestic presales until 40 days before its release.
However, the film did not offer presale tickets until less than 50 days before its release.

Any way you slice it, Avengers: Doomsday is tracking toward a historic release.
The only question now is how high the film can climb.
