Here’s a trailer for the BBC’s Sean Bean and Nicola Walker-starring romantic drama Marriage from Mum creator Stefan Golaszewski.
The show follows Ian and Emma as they negotiate the ups and downs of their 30-year marriage. Across four episodes, they will be seen dealing with the insecurities, ambiguities, hopes and fears that are all part of being with the same person for decades.
Show is produced by Jack Thorne’s Help indie The Forge and Golaszewski’s The Money Men.
Bean comes fresh off the back of winning a BAFTA for Jimmy McGovern’s Time, while Walker’s BBC drama The Split recently aired its third and final season.
Marriage also stars James Bolam (New Tricks, The Likely Lads) as Gerry, Emma’s father, Henry Lloyd-Hughes (The Inbetweeners, Ragdoll) as Jamie, Emma’s boss and Chantelle Alle (We Are Lady Parts, Mood) as Jessica, Ian and Emma’s daughter.
Executive producers are Tommy Bulfin for the BBC, Beth Willis and George Faber for The Forge and Richard Laxton and Golaszewski for The Money Men. Producer is Lyndsay Robinson (Him And Her, Mum). All3Media International represents the drama globally.
