Television presenter and media personality Bibi Mbangula is back on screens as the host of Moja Love’s legal reality series, “Molao o Reng”, and she says returning for a second season is particularly meaningful.
Following the success of its debut season, the show has returned with more real-life stories and legal challenges, continuing its mission to make the law easier for ordinary South Africans to understand.
For Mbangula, the opportunity to be part of a programme that can directly impact people’s lives is what makes the experience so rewarding.
“Returning for Season 2 of ‘Molao o Reng’ is incredibly special,” she said.
“Seeing how viewers connected with the first season and knowing that the show has genuinely helped people better understand their rights has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.”
The presenter has become an important part of the show’s identity, bringing warmth and empathy to often difficult conversations while helping guests navigate complicated legal matters.
For Mbangula, however, the show’s impact goes beyond television.
“Every episode reminds us that knowledge is power, and I’m proud to continue being part of a platform that not only tells important stories but also equips South Africans with information that can change lives,” she said.
Bringing purpose to storytelling
Mbangula’s return to “Molao o Reng” adds another chapter to an already diverse media career spanning television, radio, live events, sports broadcasting and music.
She previously made her mark on 5FM’s 5Drive, where she celebrated young South Africans and African innovators, while her broadcasting work has also taken her to major international events, including the NBA All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City.
Across these different platforms, Mbangula has maintained an interest in stories that inform, inspire and connect with audiences.
That approach has proved particularly valuable on “Molao o Reng”, where guests open up about personal experiences and seek answers to legal problems affecting their everyday lives.
The show creates a space where complicated legal issues can be explained in a way that is accessible, while audiences watching at home can also learn more about their rights.
For Mbangula, being able to contribute to that conversation is a responsibility she does not take lightly.
“Molao o Reng” returns with more real-life stories
The second season continues to bring together real-life cases, legal experts and practical advice, allowing viewers to better understand the law and how it applies to their own circumstances.
With Mbangula at the helm, the presenter says she remains committed to using her platform for more than entertainment.
Her return to “Molao o Reng” reinforces her growing reputation as a presenter who can move comfortably between entertainment, education and meaningful social conversations.
The second season of “Molao o Reng” is currently airing on Moja Love, with new episodes every Thursday at 5.00pm followed by repeat broadcasts at 8.30pm.
