Marvel Studios took center stage at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event last weekend and provided yet another look at its upcoming productions.
The big news coming out of the event was that VisionQuest will officially debut on Disney+ in October.

‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ Season 2
As a quick recap, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man follows teenage Peter Parker as he balances his life as a crime fighter with the everyday challenges of high school.

Unlike Tom Holland’s version of Spider-Man in the MCU, this iteration of Peter Parker is not mentored by Tony Stark. Instead, he is guided by Norman Osborn.
By the end of Season 1, Peter and Doctor Strange had defeated the Venom symbiote, although Norman Osborn managed to secure a sample. Meanwhile, Lonnie Lincoln fully embraced his identity as Tombstone, and viewers learned that Peter’s father is still alive and being held in prison.

Heading into last weekend, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man was scheduled to premiere this fall.
A New Trailer and Disappointing Delay
During Marvel’s presentation at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, the studio unveiled a new trailer for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2.

In the clip, fans got their first look at Gwen Stacy and Eddie Brock, saw Doc Ock kidnap Harry Osborn, and watched as Spider-Man was exposed to the Venom symbiote.
While the trailer was exciting, it also brought some bad news.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 will now debut on Disney+ next January.
So, while fans will have to wait a little longer, there is still plenty of reason to be excited.
