Aubrey Plaza has been spotted cradling her newborn baby in her first public sighting since giving birth.
The actress, 42, sweetly held the little one against her chest as she stepped out with her family in New York City on Sunday.
The infant is the first child for Plaza and her boyfriend Christopher Abbott, 40. The White Lotus star first confirmed her pregnancy in April.
Plaza was spotted arriving at the Winter Garden Theatre to support her boyfriend at his final performance of the Broadway revival, Death of a Salesman.

It marks a new start for Plaza whose estranged husband Jeff Baena died by suicide in January 2025.
She and the screenwriter had been separated since September 2024, an LA County Medical Examiner’s autopsy report obtained by DailyMail.com revealed.
Plaza and Abbott were first romantically linked in July 2025, several months after her Baena’s death.
When asked if she was ‘excited’ about taking on motherhood on The View in April, she gushed: ‘I am. Yeah, I’ve always wanted to see what that’s all about, you know?’

‘It was a beautiful surprise after an emotional year,’ a source told the publication at the time.
The couple, who previously starred on Broadway together before falling in love, were said to be feeling ‘very blessed.’
During an appearance on the SmartLess podcast in April, Plaza revealed she’s now living in New York and plans to raise her baby on the East Coast.
‘I’m back in New York … Yeah … [it’s not] totally thought through but East Coast for sure,’ she shared. ‘My family is in Philadelphia and Delaware mainly… One of the reasons I came back here was for that so I could get on a train and go home.’
Plaza’s partner Abbott is best known for playing the on-off boyfriend of Allison Williams‘s character Marnie on Lena Dunham‘s influential HBO comedy Girls.
Plaza and Abbott worked together in 2019 on the indie psychological drama Black Bear, in which both actors played dual roles as actors and directors trying to shoot a film in an eerie, isolated lake house.
The low-budget thriller premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2020 to critical acclaim, with several reviewers singling it out as one of Plaza’s best performances to date.

According to DeuxMoi, a source had spotted Plaza and Abbott looking affectionate at Chatham Berry Farm in upstate New York last June, some five months after the death of Plaza’s estranged husband.
Earlier this year, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Tony Awards in June after about a year of dating.
