Tyla announces 'A*POP' World Tour with Cape Town and Johannesburg concerts

Grammy Award-winning artist Tyla is the ultimate roll-out queen. Before dropping her sophomore album “A*POP,” Tyla dazzled international stages at major events.

Showing no signs of slowing down, Tyla has announced 34 dates for her World Tour, and she is going all out, with performances scheduled for the Netherlands, London, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, New York, and Las Vegas, starting October 12 in Paris at Zenith.

The global superstar has not forgotten her homeland, with her set to wrap up her tour in Africa. On December 22, Tyla will perform in Lagos, Cape Town on January 4, and Johannesburg on January 9.

Presented locally by Showtime Management and Anything Goes, Tyla returns in early 2027, opening the South African leg of the A*POP World Tour at Green Point Track Cape Town, followed by the Expo Centre, Nasrec, Johannesburg.

Tyla announced the news in a sizzling video that was shot on the beaches of Portimao in Portugal.

As she sits on the beach, Tyla opens up her notebook and starts penning all the cities she will be performing in. The video features the signature “A*POP” neon colours and ends with her announcing the cities in South Africa.

“THE A*POP WORLD TOUR ⭐ Sign up for early access now at TylaWorld.com. Presale begins this Wednesday at 10am local, on sale this Friday at 10am local,” she captioned the video.

The upcoming tour follows Tyla’s 2025 We Wanna Party Tour across Asia, which included sold-out performances in Japan and the UAE as well as a sold-out tour in South Africa. THE A*POP WORLD TOUR marks her first full headline tour across North America, Europe, the UK, and Africa.

Tyla has been trending since the moment she announced she would be releasing an album, and with every major international performance, she has been on people’s lips.

“A*POP” is topping the charts; on its release day, it reached number one in South Africa, surpassing Drake’s “Iceman” album.

Songs from the album dominated the charts, with Fairytale, which is a remake of the iconic Liquideep song, hitting number one.

Fans have been reacting all week to the album, with the reviews rolling in from fans all over the world. Now fans are ready to purchase tickets to see Tyla back in Mzansi.

Tickets for her Cape Town and Johannesburg shows range from R1695 for Golden Circle and R 895.00 for General Admission.
