The Durban Virginia Airshow – G-Force Festival will return to Virginia Airport in KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday, July 26, featuring aerial displays, stunt performances and family entertainment.
The event will include performances by the Marksmen Aerobatic Team, known for its close-formation flying and precision aerobatics, as well as the Jungle Rush FMX Team, which will perform freestyle motocross stunts.
The programme will also feature skydiving displays, helicopter demonstrations, pylon racing, interactive family activities, food and craft vendors.
Organisers said the event aims to attract aviation enthusiasts, families and visitors from across the country, while providing an economic boost to local businesses, including accommodation providers, restaurants, tourism operators and suppliers.
Virginia Airport Manager Dudu Ntombela said the airshow had become a major event on Durban’s calendar.
“The Durban Virginia Airshow is much more than an aviation event. It is a valuable economic driver that supports local businesses, creates opportunities for service providers throughout KwaZulu-Natal and showcases Durban as a premier destination for tourism and major events,” she said.
The event will take place at Virginia Airport, with organisers describing it as a showcase of aviation, entertainment and community engagement.
Gates open at 08h30, and tickets are priced from R140 for adults and R80 for children.
