Samsung and Marvel Team Up For New ‘A Brand New Fold For a Brand New Day’

Marvel and Samsung are teaming up to celebrate the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day with a new campaign highlighting the Galaxy Z Fold8.

The fourth installment in the MCU’s Spider-Man franchise, Brand New Day picks up after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, following Peter Parker as he begins a new chapter with the world’s memory of him erased.

“Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city as a full-time Spider-Man. But as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced,” the film’s logline reads.

The new ad sees Jacob Batalon reprise his role as Ned Leeds, who uses his Spidey Tracker to follow Spider-Man.

Later, Peter Parker returns home sore and achy from a day of crime-fighting.

His phone is also shattered. He then throws it into a pile of broken phones.

As a montage of Peter’s battles plays, phone after phone gets tossed into the “broken” bin.

Finally, Peter upgrades his tech and creates a foldable Galaxy Z.

Luckily, he finishes up before Ned can reach his location.

A Match Made in Heaven

The new A Brand New Fold For a Brand New Day spot was directed by Marvel veteran Kasra Farahani.
