Between the recent introduction of the Fantastic Four and the upcoming addition of the X-Men, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally introducing some of its biggest stars.
With Disney’s purchase of Fox in 2019 and the ongoing partnership with Sony regarding the Spider-Man franchise, it seems that Kevin Feige and his team have nearly the full roster of Marvel characters to play with.

Despite this, one major star remains noticeably missing.
Where Is Miles Morales?
For over a decade now, fans have waited with bated breath for Miles Morales to make his MCU debut.

Originally teased in Spider-Man: Homecoming, it has long been established that Miles exists in the broader Marvel universe.
During that time, Sony found success with Miles as the main character in the Spider-Verse franchise.

Now, however, we have confirmation that Marvel Studios has plans for the character.
Kevin Feige Weighs In
According to a new report from Watching Hollywood on Weibo, Kevin Feige publicly addressed the Miles Morales situation during a visit to Shanghai.

“I think live-action Spider-Man movies have this destiny: to add Miles at some point after the Spider-Verse series is completed,” he said (via Cosmic Marvel).
While it remains to be seen what Marvel’s plans for Miles Morales are, Tom Holland has been open about his desire to see the character debut in the Spider-Man franchise.

Perhaps, as Holland’s time as Peter Parker winds down, he will pass the torch to Miles.
For now, however, it sounds like we will have to wait until the Spider-Verse franchise comes to an end.
