It’s almost that time of year again. Fall marks the return of all your favorite network TV shows, along with a wave of new series set to make their debut. As we look ahead, NBC has a lot to offer, from big competition shows to sitcoms, procedurals, and dramas. Whether you’re a fan of The Voice, the Chicago franchise, Law & Order, or Dateline, NBC’s upcoming slate has something for everyone.
This year’s weekly lineup leans into what the network has always done best: broad‑appeal entertainment. Some series are perfect for when you come home after a long day at work and want to unwind by watching a comforting show on the couch, like St. Denis Medical. Others are ideal for group hangouts and watch parties, like The Traitors: New Blood. Although these weeknight staples can be watched live when they air, you can also check them out the next day on NBC’s premiere streaming service, Peacock. Here is everything coming to NBC this Fall.
Mondays
‘The Voice’ Season 30 – 8 p.m.
After 29 seasons over 15 years, The Voice remains one of NBC’s biggest shows, and Season 30 is leading the Fall 2026 lineup on Monday nights. The reality competition show features a rotating panel of celebrity coaches who mentor aspiring artists toward stardom. This next season promises to bring the same blend of spectacle and talent that has kept viewers hooked through the years.
Since the future champion of Season 30 could make an appearance in the premiere, it’s worth watching from the first episode while singers compete for a life‑changing breakthrough. Even after so many seasons, The Voice still delivers some of the best feel‑good entertainment on TV that is rare these days.
The Voice Season 30 premiere will also air on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at 8 p.m. E.T. and Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, at 8 p.m. E.T. Then, in November 2026, The Voice will move to 9 p.m. on Monday nights, and St. Denis Medical will take the 8 p.m. timeslot.
‘Line of Fire’ — 10 p.m.
One of NBC’s biggest new additions is Line of Fire, a drama about a family of various law enforcement agents, from the FBI to the Secret Service, who team up to solve crises. With a premise like that, the series promises to blur the line between a family drama and a procedural TV series. NBC may be positioning Line of Fire as its next prestige‑leaning drama. If it lands, it could become one of the network’s breakout hits.
‘St. Denis Medical’ Season 3 – 8 p.m.
NBC has always been known for mockumentary workplace comedies like The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Superstore, and St. Denis Medical is the latest sitcom that falls into that category. The show, set in a hilariously chaotic hospital, has continued to build its viewership thanks to its blend of absurd workplace humor and surprisingly warm moments between characters. If NBC’s past hits are any indication, Season 3 is where St. Denis Medical could truly find its stride and evolve into something special for the genre. The show is already pulling in new viewers since it’s streaming on Peacock, and that momentum will only grow this fall.
‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’ Season 2 – 8:30 p.m.
NBC’s newest offbeat mockumentary, The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, is coming back for Season 2, expanding on the story of former football star Reggie Dinkins as he attempts to rebuild his public image. The debut season was memorable thanks to the unlikely pairing of 30 Rock favorite Tracy Morgan with Daniel Radcliffe of Harry Potter fame. I thought their chemistry was a home run thanks to their charm and potential. Season 2 has the chance to let the series find its footing as Reggie puts his life back together with the help of his documentary filming crew.

‘Chicago Med’ Season 12 – 8 p.m.
The Chicago franchise is going strong with Wednesday nights dedicated to Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. Med kicks things off as the series heads into Season 12. The long‑running medical drama remains the emotional entry point for the lineup, weaving together intense professional dynamics with storylines focusing on the personal lives of doctors and nurses. The new season is expected to lean even further into that mix, offering the kind of character‑driven storytelling and hospital‑floor urgency you’ve watched for over a decade.
‘Chicago Fire’ Season 15 – 9 p.m.
Chicago Fire is the show that started it all, and now it’s entering Season 15, set to air between its two successful spin-offs. It’s arguably the most unique of the three series thanks to its premise, as the procedural follows firefighters instead of a police department or hospital staff. Of course, it still incorporates the personal drama and family lives of its characters, which is a big part of why people keep tuning in every season. ‘Chicago P.D.’ Season 14 – 10 p.m.
Chicago P.D. is the grittiest of the Chicago shows, and it’s set to return with Season 14. The police procedural is unlike many others on network TV, as it shares a city with Fire and Med, setting up crossover storylines that are likely to continue. Since the show is a fun throwback to a time long before the streaming age, it’s no surprise that the network famous for Law & Order is behind it.
Thursdays
‘The Traitors: New Blood’ Season 5 – 8 p.m.
If you thought the last season of The Traitors had already pushed reality competition to its limits, then you can look forward to the next iteration of the series, The Traitors: New Blood. As the show enters its fifth season on NBC, it will introduce a new cast, promising bigger betrayals with higher stakes and more psychological warfare. However, unlike last season, the new season of The Traitors won’t feature celebrities. The franchise has become a breakout hit on Peacock, and considering the recent ratings boost, I anticipate that host Alan Cumming will amp up the challenges as a new group of traitors and faithfuls compete for their cash prize.
‘Law & Order: SVU’ Season 28 – 9 p.m.
As Law & Order: SVU enters Season 28, Mariska Hargitay continues to lead the long-running procedural alongside Ice-T and other cast members. The new season will likely continue giving viewers exactly what they’ve enjoyed for almost 30 years: intense investigations and court hearings that feel inspired by actual news stories. It’s hard to believe the show was a spin-off, because after 27 seasons, it’s one of NBC’s biggest shows.
‘Law & Order’ Season 26 – 10 p.m.
The network procedural that redefined the genre returns with Season 26, now airing at 10 p.m. instead of earlier in the night. And much like Law & Order: SVU, it’s likely to keep giving us more of the sharp legal drama we know and love. Although the current cast isn’t quite as iconic and recognizable as SVU, the show still has undeniable cultural relevance.
Fridays
‘Happy’s Place’ Season 3 – 8 p.m.
NBC’s family-friendly sitcom Happy’s Place, led by Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman, is coming back for Season 3. Bobbie, who inherits a bar from her dad, learns she has a secret half-sister, Isabella, played by Belissa Escobedo. If you’re looking for a throwback sitcom that channels McEntire’s classic show Reba, Happy’s Place is right up your alley.
‘Newlyweds’ Season 1 – 8:30 p.m.
NBC is adding another sitcom to its Friday lineup with Newlyweds, a series that feels plucked out of a past era of network TV. Real‑life spouses Tim Daly and Téa Leoni star as a newly married couple navigating one of life’s biggest milestones. The show also brings in Jamie Lee Curtis, who produces the series and appears in a guest role. Based on everything we know so far, Newlyweds seems poised to deliver the same kind of comforting viewing that Happy’s Place provided in its first two seasons.
‘Dateline NBC’ Season 35 – 9 p.m.
Dateline has been a cornerstone of NBC for more than 30 years, and this fall, the long‑running series will come back for Season 35. Host Lester Holt returns with a new set of compelling investigations that are certain to include bizarre twists that have defined Dateline throughout the decades.
